I love the movie, "Julie and Julia." It is about the life of a want-to-be chef/blogger who is inspired by Julia Childs. Julie uses Julia's cookbook and embarks on making every recipe in that book.
AH, Ina Garten! She is my Julia Childs. Ever so calm in the perfectly clean kitchen, making foods that look delicious, without the mess and fuss I unfurl as I attempt to cook. Ironically, Ina's love for cooking, and all things Parisian started with Julia Childs also.
So begins my challenge to cook like Ina. My name is Carolyn Ann, so I'm going to be "Anna, and Ina!"
My only problem; however, is modification as I'm gluten sensitive. So substitution on wheat flours will be necessary. My first attempt will be a cake for my sister's birthday. I will keep you posted on how it turns out.
